Counselling for Teens

Teens often enter therapy when they are experiencing one or more of the following:  Depression, anxiety, social challenges (e.g., bullying, peer pressure, struggling to make/keep friends), conflict with parents/caregivers, anger, and addiction.

Angela has over 10 years of experience working with adolescents at local children’s mental health agencies- she is genuine, down-to-earth, and seen as relevant in the eyes of teens. Her experience means that she has vast knowledge of child/adolescent development and mental health challenges and extensive experience providing therapy in a way that can “reach” teens. Angela has certificates in trauma-focused CBT (tf-CBT) for children from the Medical University of South Carolina and Trauma Assessment and Treatment for Children and Adolescents from SafeGuards Training.
